1. Who you are buying from
Linen & Paw is a trading name of Xiamen Qidian Chuangyi Wenhua Chuanbo Co., Ltd.（厦门奇点创意文化传播有限公司）, a company incorporated in the People's Republic of China. 2. Orders and acceptance
Adding something to your bag is not an order. A contract is formed when we send a dispatch confirmation, or when payment is taken, whichever happens first. If we cannot fulfil an order — a stock error, a pricing mistake, a failed fraud check — we cancel it and refund in full, and we will tell you why.
3. Prices, tax and currency
Prices are shown in US dollars and include any applicable sales tax where we are required to collect it. Shipping is quoted at checkout before you pay. We do not add handling fees after the fact. Where duties are prepaid (UK and EU) that is stated on the shipping page; elsewhere, import charges are set by your customs authority.
4. Payment
We accept two payment rails. Card and wallet payments are processed by our payment provider, which acts as merchant of record for that transaction. Bank transfer (T/T) is handled directly between you and us, against a proforma invoice.
Card
Payment is taken when you complete checkout. The provider handles the card data, the currency conversion and any chargeback. We never see or store your card number.
Bank transfer (T/T)
- We issue a proforma invoice showing an order reference, the amount and our bank details. A proforma is not a tax invoice; the final invoice follows on dispatch.
- The contract is formed when we confirm the proforma, not when you send the transfer. If funds have not arrived within 14 days we cancel the order and release the stock.
- Bank charges are yours. If the amount that arrives is short by more than $10 we will ask for the difference, or refund what arrived and cancel the order.
- We dispatch after the funds clear, normally 2–4 business days after you pay.
- Our bank details are only ever sent on a proforma invoice from hello@linenandpaw.com, as a PDF attachment. We will not change them mid-order without a telephone call that you initiated.
- Refunds on bank transfers go back to the account you paid from, less the bank charges we incurred.
Bank transfer orders are not protected by card chargeback. If a parcel is lost, damaged or not as described, everything on this page and on the shipping page still applies in full.
5. Shipping and risk
We dispatch within the window stated on the shipping page. Risk passes to you on delivery, or on delivery to the address you gave us. If a parcel is lost in transit, we replace it — see the shipping page for how that works.
6. Returns and withdrawal
Our returns policy gives you 30 days from delivery, used or not. That sits on top of your statutory rights, which we do not limit. Details, including who pays return postage, are on the shipping page. Nothing in these terms asks you to waive a right you have under consumer law.
7. Product information and sizing
We describe materials, measurements and care instructions as accurately as we can. Colours vary slightly between batches and between screens. Measurements are of the finished item, taken flat. If a size does not match the published measurement, that is our error and we will fix it at our cost.
8. Safety and supervision
No toy or bed is indestructible. Remove and replace anything that has been chewed through, and supervise your dog with new items until you know how they treat them. These products are not medical devices and are not a substitute for veterinary advice.
9. Intellectual property
The designs, photographs, illustrations and text on this site belong to us. You may not copy them for commercial use, resell our products as your own, or use our name to imply an endorsement.
10. Liability
We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss that was not foreseeable. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms is submitted to the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC) for arbitration seated in Xiamen; the award is final and binding on both parties and, under the New York Convention, enforceable across borders. Nothing here removes the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your own country if you are a consumer resident elsewhere.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force on the day you ordered applies to that order, and we keep a dated copy of each version.
